The location was excellent, just a short walk from the Blue Gate, which enhanced my time in the medina. Inconsistent electricity was concerning, especially as I rely on medical equipment. Wi-Fi was not available on the top floor, challenging to stay connected.

Public parking, GOOD service. Comfortable bed, a nice size room with climate control, a dining area and a sitting area. Outstanding food, more than adequate and gluten free breakfast. Location not far from the Mosaic making factories, the famous leather making place of Fes and secret doors that leads to different stories of the Medina as well as an alley off the main street inside of the medina and close to the main gate.

Before travelling we had read online that it is a must to stay in a Riad in Morocco instead of a hotel. We were very pleased, especially with Riad Hala. Because most of them have no more than 5 to 8 rooms, you get a lot of personal care. The owner and staff at Riad Hala is very professional, attentive and friendly. We were quite pleased with the meals at Riad Hala. They have an excellent cook and the presentation of the dining area and meals were excellent. We would recommend anyone to stay there.

The hotel is right in the centre of the medina, which sould be a bit weird for some, but very convenient. The rooms are big and very traditional. The man at the reception when we first arrived was very nice and explained everything to us and the night receptionist was a very sweet and nice man. We had our dinner at the restaurant Fassi in the centre that they suggested, and the food was very good. The view from the terrace is really good. The breakfast very nice and also traditional. Would definitely recommend it!
Not much wrong with it. The beds are a bit hard and there are loads of steps to get to the room, but that's something usual for riads i guess. Also, be prepared to get a sudden awakening in the middle of the night as it is prayer time for the people there, and the mosquee is right next to the hotel, so you can hear the whole ritual straight through the windows. People say it's dump and stuff, but i don't think you could get anything better in a riad right in the middle of the medina.
